Job Description: Remote Technical Mentor
The Remote Technical Mentor works closely with online cohorts of students across the length of the 9-month part-time program and is charged with both with the students' educational outcomes as well as the strength of the classroom community. They watch over a class of students in the midst of a career transition and ensure on a day-to-day basis that everyone is learning rapidly and is on track for success. When a student gets a job after the program, such core teaching staff are those they thank with the deepest emotion.
Flexible work location - Remote
This is full-time (exempt) position with the part-time Software Engineering Intensive (Hack Reactor Remote Part Time).
Candidates will need to have weeknight availability on Monday - Thursday on at least two weeknights as well as daytime availability on Saturdays.
For regulatory reasons, candidates must be a resident of one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.
