Galvanize is looking for a highly motivated bartender to join our cafe team and support building and event staff in providing amazing hospitality experiences.
You in one sentence: A strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to engage with customers to create positive energy and a second home for guests. You enjoy working on a close knit team, are a problem a solver with the capability to exceed guests expectations. A strong knowledge of local craft beer, as well as an understanding of coffee and equipment.

What you will be doing: Represent Galvanize in a professional and hospitable manner, and help to maintain positive company morale. Maintain a high level of motivation to ensure quality and consistent product. Communicating with the hospitality leadership team when the bar needs products, and place orders when required to do so. Selling crafted cocktails, pouring beer and wine, etc. Receive and call back customer orders and accurately ring orders into cash register. Assist in maintaining a clean, well stocked bar and well merchandised baskets and shelves. Routinely clean the bar area, floors, taking out trash and operating the bar with little to no out assistance. Support the building and event staff in maintaining a clean, courteous and hospitable environment.
Experience in bar and café preferred
Exceptional and persuasive hospitality skills
Must have a positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow
Regularly required to lift and / or move items up to 25 pounds
