Chief of Staff to the CEO

Freedom Robotics believes that highly reliable and cost-effective robots will transform how tasks are done and make automated work the new standard.

Robots will help make life better for everyone, and we are building the software and services to power them.

We keep our teams small and hire only the best. We are looking for people who are both passionate about changing the world and who understand, appreciate, and have experienced the hard work which is necessary to create world-class software and hardware products.

We are extremely passionate about our customers and helping them win. We hope you can be also. Guiding them to their success and explaining the complex world of robotics in a clear and clean way are paramount for success in this role.

If you love people, love robots, and are pumped about building excitement and helping define an entire industry, we would love to talk.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the CEO in identifying, analyzing and executing on critical company initiatives/projects.
  • Shadow CEO in critical meetings, taking notes, tracking and following up on action items, and helping make sure the company is staying focused on top priorities.
  • We just raised over $6mn dollars and are entering a growth phase. We are still a small team, which means there is an opportunity to wear many hats. You will work cross-functionally with all the leaders at Freedom robotics to help them plan and execute on their top priorities at any given time.
  • Currently some company priorities you’d be helping with are to hire critical roles, to continue to grow our presence in the robotics community base and help identify opportunities to streamline and operationalize new customer onboarding.
  • This is a great opportunity to get exposure to all parts of a company, and see what it takes to grow a startup and prepare processes for scale.
  • You will be working with and learning from a 3-time founder.

Requirements:
  • A passion for robotics and setting others up for success.
  • 2-4 years experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or similar background with operational excellence.
  • Analytical toolkit, including complex financial modeling and market analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize insights and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Detailed oriented in execution and ability to always keep an eye on the big picture.
  • Professional communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Incredible drive and willingness to go above and beyond on every task.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Engineering background (CS, EE, MECE, etc.)
  • Experience with robotics either professionally or as a hobbyist.
  • A desire to constantly learn and grow.
