QE-Automation

The Junior Quality Engineer  will work as part of cross functional, agile teams to ensure Quality is driven into the heart of the development process from Requirements through Implementation.
Quality Engineer defines, develops, maintains and executes the automated test scripts utilizing Core Java, Selenium/UFT and SOAP UI for complex customer facing applications. He/She should ensure that user stories and/or system requirements are satisfied for internal and external applications users including Functional "Edge Cases" outside of expected functionality workflow. QE also ensures project and release testing is complete and testing risks are identified prior to implementation.
Responsibilities (below)
1. Develop Software to support the Automated Testing of Software using Java based on the 
defined technical standards
2. Develop Unit Tests for the Customer provided requirements using JUNIT & Functional Automation through Selenium/UFT3. Addresses quality at the code level
4. Adapt Best practices in automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability
5. Develop test data for the Automation Test Executing in Oracle/MYSQL/SQL*Server Platform
6. Be an Agile team member by interacting with Scrum/SAFe Delivery teams.
7. Be an Active participant in Scrum Ceremonies - ShowNTell, Retrospect, Daily Sprint, Sprint Planning
8. Be an active contributor in 3 Amigos to examine the Quality of the product increment
9. Develop/Execute Automated tests during the Sprint  and troubleshoot any problems with the execution
10. Actively review the User Story, tech Story, Architecture Work products, Solution requirement to provide input
on the completeness of the requirements, schedule, design, architecture etc.
11. Own the completeness of automated test design, development and execution in B2B-ECOMM Environment12. Provide the test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicate the same to
Key Stakeholders on periodical basis as the project demands
13. Should have basic knowledge on MicroServices Architecture, DevOps, Config Management practices to handle the Automation code developed
14. Should be proficient in STLC stages to provide inputs in test strategy, develop test design, execution. 
15. Demonstrates working knowledge of the defect management process and tools (e.g. HP ALM,JIRA, Bugzilla etc.) in order to review defects, participate in defect triage meetings, interprets the results & the defect dashboard; conduct analysis and reporting of defect information
