Description
You’ll be an integral part of the firm’s quality assurance team. You’ll be working closely with developers, managers, and product owners to evaluate software and ensure what we create meets the business goals of the client. You will be responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. Your duties will include creation and execution of manual functional test cases and convert those into automated tests to ensure quality software, mitigate risk, and prevent issues.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience in Test Automation
- Has knowledge of development technologies used in automation testing such as XML, Python, C#, or Java
- Experience with Performance Testing/Load Testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner or any other performance tools) (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Mobile Automation/ Testing (using Appium) (Nice to have)
- Possesses strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Is capable of writing clear, concise, and comprehensive defect reports, test plans and test cases
- Is a versatile, rigorous problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
- Can give and receive constructive feedback
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation test scripts
- Create and execute all levels of test plans (system, integration, regression, smoke test cases)
- Document detailed defects/bug reports and work with the team to resolve them
- Troubleshoot and explore web and mobile applications on a daily basis
- Critically evaluate the software performance and business value
- Provide direct feedback to the development team
- Participate in and become an active voice in the daily team meetings and weekly demos with clients
Variety of Technologies:
At FrogSlayer, you'll be working on a variety of projects that include web, desktop, mobile and embedded systems. Some of the technologies, tools, and processes you should be comfortable with include:
- Defect tracking tools (Jira or any other defect tracking tools)
- Experience in writing basic SQL queries
- Experience working in an Agile environment practicing SCRUM
