Freetrade is a next-generation investment tech startup, bringing free stock investing to the UK and Europe for the first time ever. We’ve built a beautiful investing app to trade in real shares, with zero commissions or fees in a fluid, mobile-first experience.

Our mission is to build a totally new culture around investing: innovative, customer-first and universally accessible. With over £10m in funding so far and as one of the most overfunded companies ever on Crowdcube, we're a growing team poised to disrupt the £1.2 trillion UK retail investments market. And that's just the start.

We are looking to scale - and fast. We've invested early in an internal talent function to help facilitate that growth, and now we're looking for a Talent Sourcer. This is an exciting opportunity to fast-track your career and to be one of the first people in a growing Talent function. 

Over the next 12 months you will…

  • Dive headfirst into understanding and embracing the Freetrade product and internal culture in order to best represent Freetrade to potential employees.
  • Develop highly targeted sourcing methods to source high-quality candidates for our open roles. 
  • Use a variety of platforms to source from, from social media to X-Ray searches, and yes, LinkedIn.
  • Always be thinking of the bigger picture. Rather than just sourcing for the roles we need right now, you will be constantly looking to broaden your network in order to get a head start on roles we will need to hire for in the near future.
  • Be involved in the screening and interviewing process, ensuring that the right people are involved at the right times and that the candidates receive the best possible experience during their first interactions with Freetrade.
  • Help us develop our employer brand and diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring we build an exceptional team that is reflective of the world around us.

About you:

  • Proven experience sourcing and placing people into permanent roles. You’ll have ideally worked in-house or recruited into startup or tech companies.
  • Extremely driven! Our culture prioritises speed, care and effectiveness and you’ll have the freedom to pursue your own ideas and solutions. 
  • Open to sourcing for a variety of positions across Customer Operations, Finance & Brokerage Operations, Marketing, People and Engineering.
  • You are ambitious, you’ll thrive working in a fast-paced environment and are excited at the idea of helping a company scale rapidly.
  • You are a people person at heart.

What we can offer you: 

£30k to £40k base salary.

You’ll have a stake in the company you’re building, with stock options benchmarked to US companies (not Europe), so your equity will be truly meaningful.
