Cybersecurity Engineer – Key
The contractor shall provide support in Defensive Computing Operations (DCO). The contractor shall facilitate delivery of DoD/DoN Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to include (but not limited to) security plans, reports, assessments, audits, IATT and ATO documentation to the SUPSHIP Newport News (COR) via the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). The cybersecurity engineer shall be available between the hours of 0700 (approximately) and 1700 (approximately) in order to fulfill an eight (8) – hour workday, Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative or weather-related reasons.
Education: Bachelors of Science degree (or a post-graduate degree) in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Systems, Network/Cybersecurity, or IT related field. Must be DODD 8570-01-M IAM Level II or III compliant with baseline security certification.
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience with Enterprise IT systems, to include: Certification and Accreditation, Cybersecurity, Incident Response, Information Assurance, Information Technology Management, Network Auditing, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Security Test and Evaluation (DISA STIG, network scans).
Clearance: Must possess Secret clearance via a favorably adjudicated SSBI or SSBI-PR.
