Role
We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our data science team to support IT maintenance and roll-out. This position is based in San Francisco, but will require ~20% travel to our east coast sites as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and solve complex problems spanning multiple systems and teams as they relate to corporate IT initiatives; this may include evaluating and integrating new services.
  • Automate and/or execute IT infrastructure-related projects such as platform migrations and information security policy updates.
  • Develop tools and solutions to increase the operational efficiency of the IT change management process with focus on excellent user journeys or experiences.
  • Innovate and design internal solutions that allow us to scale.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of technical experience working in system administration or IT operations.
  • Experience with system administration of various operating systems such as Linux, OS X, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in providing infrastructure solutions for internal customers.
  • Experience with backup and archival solutions in regulated environments.
  • Experience in automation with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Experience in cloud computing with AWS, GCS, or similar
  • Knowledge of at least three of the following skill-sets within IT Operations: networking, device management, application troubleshooting, automation and scripting.
  • Knowledge of complex IT infrastructure and ability to troubleshoot challenges.
  • Systematic problem solving approach; ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
