Growth Marketing Manager

Fishbowl is looking for a Growth Marketer to join our team and help build the next social network for professionals. We’re passionate about connecting professionals through authentic conversation, and at Fishbowl we’re bringing together world-class talent from different experiences, disciplines, and areas of study to produce a new type of online network.

Fishbowl connects professionals with colleagues in their industry to have candid and relevant workplace conversations. Many users describe Fishbowl as a “Twitter meets LinkedIn”. The platform initially opened exclusively to the Consulting, Accounting, and Advertising industries and has since captured more than 30% of US professionals within each. We've focused on proving out incredible engagement stats, and we're just getting started on scaling the platform to the rest of the professional world.
 
As the Growth Marketing Manager,  you will be responsible for user acquisition channels and top of funnel growth for Fishbowl. You will be constantly looking for new opportunities to grow the Fishbowl user base and contribute to go-to-market strategy and execution, including launching to new industries. 

You will work closely with product, design, and community team members. You will use a data-driven approach to understand CAC and LTV on a per channel basis, and own both the strategy and execution of any campaigns. You should have a strong understanding of mobile and web app acquisition, and the performance drivers that will lead to successful conversion.

 
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Manage user acquisition campaigns across all channels from A to Z, including strategy, copywriting, scheduling, conversion optimization, and data analysis.
• Create successful reactivation strategies and marketing programs to drive an increase in WAU of Fishbowl’s current user base
• Work directly with the Growth PM and community team on industry launches and make sure we are prepared to capture as many professionals as possible
• Develop robust, innovative, new content marketing strategies for different audiences
• Develop and present strategic recommendations based on your analysis of experiment performance to the team and management.
 
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• 3+ years of marketing and user acquisition work experience or similar
• Experience working on consumer products
• Experience designing, running and analyzing marketing campaigns
• Experience with e-mail marketing
• Sophisticated working knowledge of excel (INDEX/MATCH > VLOOKUP)
• Basic design skills to spin up your own creative
• Insatiable curiosity to always look for new opportunities for improvement is a must
