Senior Digital Media Strategist

At Firewood Marketing, we value great work. We help drive our clients’ goals and success. And we are looking for a Senior Digital Media Strategist to match our high energy, drive, and integrity while working for one of our clients, a large tech company.

The Senior Digital Media Strategist will collaborate with our digital marketing teams to help drive key global marketing programs for our client’s products.
 

Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary point of contact for client on technical and operational issues
  • Ensure tracking (Floodlights, URL tracking, Google Analytics) and reporting is set up correctly and standardized
  • Ensure document key information properly
  • Ensure proper implementation and use of Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360 and other tools
  • Ensure knowledge of and compliance to client’s paid media guidelines
  • Providing a point of contact for any finance and budgeting related issues
  • Understand brand guidelines and client direction
  • Assist with quarterly media planning and media strategy
  • Assist Paid Media Managers in brainstorming, problem-solving and hypothesis generation for A/B testing
  • Assigning and confirming KPI goals with support from the client
  • Surface challenges or roadblocks and work with client teams to resolve
  • Maintain expertise on paid media as well as client’s finance, legal and brand safety policies
  • Ensure standardized onboarding of new paid media managers
  • Prioritize and juggle projects as necessary

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing focused project management or strategy role
  • Expertise with the concepts of Digital Marketing (AdWords & Display a priority)
  • Familiarity with Doubleclick Campaign Manager and Search Ads 360 preferred
  • Superior project timeline development and management skills  
  • Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A knack for unravelling complex problems and processes in an easy to understand way
  • Able to maintain excellent written and verbal communication with all parties
  • High energy and go getter attitude; comfortable working autonomously
  • Proficient in Google docs, slides, sheets or equivalent (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and dealing with ambiguity
  • Able to work as well independently as within a team
