Events Coordinator

Firewood Marketing is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented contributor to join the team in the role of Events Coordinator. The primary job of the Events Coordinator will be to support Events Managers with all daily tasks related to executing flawless events with our clients. This role will be based at the Firewood Marketing office in San Francisco, CA.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Administrative tasks and events logistics
  • Collection and distribution of notes and action items post-meetings
  • Complete basic creative briefs
  • Work with project management to produce event collateral on deadlines
  • Proof all collateral assets before printing
  • Build event-related communications, emails, and manage event registration website
  • Manage event promotions and collateral storage
  • Collect and organize all pre-event communication materials
  • Prepare support documents for client and agency teams
  • Be a “Jack of all trades” on-site during events
  • Create recap decks post-event
  • Researching and documentation of gifts, vendors, and speakers
  • Support internal agency requests and events

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous professional work experience
  • Proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter and highly motivated
  • An innate passion for learning and growing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Google documents software
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication
  • Work as well independently as within a team
  • Ability to work autonomously without much direct oversight 
  • Has own means of transportation for occasional meetings in the South Bay
  • Ability to travel for work events and occasionally work nontraditional hours

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in event marketing and/or project management 
  • Experience in B2B marketing
