The Recruitment Specialist will embrace the full recruitment cycle to achieve the goal of effectively staffing the company with the highest quality candidates who not only offer unique skills and experience, but also a positive influence to our company's culture. Focused efforts include candidate attraction, job posting, recruitment process, interviewing, Onboarding, staff development, employee retention, and Offboarding.
This role is responsible for collaborating with management on implementing, maintaining and providing on-going support for employee engagement strategies throughout an employee’s full life cycle. From attracting and recruiting candidates; to Onboarding and training; to retention, building office culture, and increasing employee engagement. The goal of the Specialist is to deliver a welcoming and organized candidate and employee experience, build positive relationships with candidates and employees, and cultivate a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and re-evaluate listing of approved open positions
- Maintain accurate records of staff including turnover/retention, employee satisfaction, and candidate statistics
- Manage new-hire paperwork, compliance requirements, and background/reference checks
- Coordinate hiring process with job posting, screening resumes, and performing telephone screenings/interviews
- Strategize and present ways to ensure all job postings and communications reach multi-generations, diverse employees and various levels of education.
- Contact, screen and conduct initial interviews (as needed) to qualify prospective candidates; support candidates and hiring managers through the entire recruitment process
- Coordinate pre & post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials to hiring management
- Conduct New Hire Orientations and help facilitate other Onboarding tasks and training
- Recommend process improvements, identify issues, and make suggestions as appropriate
- Administrative tasks as needed

- Experience with an applicant tracking system a plus
- Experience in data analytics a plus
Education and Experience
- 5+ years experience in the human resources field
- 2+ years experience in recruiting
- High School diploma required, some college preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Work Environment
