Farmers Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Licensed Sales & Service Producers to join our growing team. Licensed Sales & Service Producers work to fulfill the Agency’s sales goals for auto, home, commercial, and life insurance products. Producers are responsible for contacting leads, developing lead sources and other referral bases so they can provide the customer quotes for our products.
Additionally, Producers represent the Agency within the community by developing relationships with civic organizations and other community groups.
Licensed Sales & Service Producers Responsibilities:
As an Agency Producer you will support the sales, cross-sell, customer retention and customer service goals of the Insurance Agency. You will do so by calling on prospective clients and generating new sales leads while also developing a deeper relationship with existing customer accounts. Leads will be provided to you, but you will also work to generate warmer sales leads through your own personal networking and prospecting.
Licensed Sales & Service Producers Essential Job Functions
- Utilizing Agency marketing systems, or those you may develop, to solicit and sell Insurance and related products
- Coordinating with the agent and/or operations manager to provide assistance in determining proper coverage.
- Providing excellent customer service to policyholders
- Attending networking and/or community events
- Educating and assisting customers
- Maintaining knowledge of new products and initiatives. Pursuing a program for development of personal and business skills.
Licensed Sales & Service Producers Requirements:
The qualified Insurance Sales Representative candidate will have at least a high school diploma, although a college degree is preferred. The ideal Insurance Sales Representative will also have:
- Sales and/or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a fearless and positive attitude
- Self-motivation and goal-orientation
- Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
- Desire to continually learn new products and services
- Desire to be active in the community
- Basic computer skills, basic math skills, strong analytical capability, conflict resolution skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
