Tools Support Technician IV

The Tools Support Technician maintains all Enterprise Management supporting technologies used by the GECC.  Provides technical direction and engineering knowledge in support of planning, designing, developing, testing, installing and maintaining systems monitoring and management services.  Develops, refines, and documents systems management policies, processes, procedures and drives their implementation and use within the GECC. Performs user administration on Enterprise Management supporting technologies. 

Strong IAT level 2 certification (Security+), 5+ years experience in Linux system administration, 5+ years Windows system administration, experienced in processing customer support tickets and troubleshooting Tier 2 issues including both remote and hands-on support.

Scripting experience in Python or Perl, SQL.

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
