What you’ll do:
You will be an intricate part of managing the execution of tech packs to achieve overall creative and business goals.
- Manage technical development of product within merchandise assortment strategy
- Responsible for assisting Creative Director with execution of seasonal tech packs, presentation set up, communication with merchandising, working closely with the product development team members
- Participate and support fittings through ensuring noted changes are executed
- Ensures that product is consistent with market trends as well as business strategy
- Keen awareness of fashion market trends
- Consistently evaluate color mood direction and market/trend research
Must have qualifications include:
- College education in Fashion Design or a related field
- Strong woven dress experience
- 4-5 years women’s design experience
- Ability to hand sketch
- Strong sense of style and color
- Thorough knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color use, sewing techniques, graphics and trim
- Understanding of merchandising as it relates to sales and store environment
- Strong computer knowledge including Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with multiple team members and manage multiple tasks
- Goal oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
