Responsibilities:
Analyzing business workflows, making recommendations to business units, and creating solutions within the LOS to improve workflow and reporting processes.
Reviewing feasibility of system update requests from business process managers and providing alternative options as needed.
Conducting systems analysis to understand impact of proposed changes, building test script documents, administering system testing, and deploying changes to Encompass environments.
Developing Encompass E360 business rules, including writing advanced scripts in VB/.NET based on business requirements.
Creating solutions documents that include business rules, codes, and field IDs.
Coordinating efforts with the QA team to manage defects.
Following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management policies in developing Encompass enhancements.
Assisting in monitoring system interfaces and managing vendor relationships.
Administering Encompass system, including: user access, system settings, business rules, etc.
Maintaining knowledge of LOS system administration guidelines and best practices.
Performing other duties as assigned.
This position requires:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3-5 years of related experience in LOS administration.
In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and loan origination life cycle.
Ability to understand software requirements specifications, deployment plans, and maintenance plans.
Advanced coding skills such as VBScript/VB.NET.
Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
EllieMae Certified Encompass Administrators preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, manage deadlines, and prioritize workload.
Ability to solve problems and research possible solutions with little supervision.
Ability to work well with others, listen, and communicate clearly.
Strong analytical skills.
