Principal AEM Architect (Remote)

Essential Functions:
Lead the delivery of solution architecture for key digital strategy programs (including, but not limited to Consumer Digital Strategy, RAD, etc.). Ability to define broader architecture for the program, create architecture guidelines and principles to guide individual project solution design. Leadership role for AEM Architecture practice.
Defining Digital Marketing Platform Architecture using Adobe Digital Marketing tools and technologies and revisions as needed.
Working with business teams, product owners, content authoring teams to define system requirements and provide level of efforts estimates
Understand current technology landscape, business vision and define target architectures for digital platforms
Drive AEM Governance process to ensure guidelines and standards are defined and adhered
Establish web UI technology standards and keeping it updated with emerging technologies
Multi-solution architecture using Adobe Marketing Cloud products for personalization, analytics, campaign and social media integration
Partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure architectures complies to enterprise standards. Working with Health IT Strategy & Policy to ensure that solution will meet current and future standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in Architecture Review Board
Guide technical staff in designing end-to-end architecture for individual projects, ensuring that solution designs meet current standard, scalable, leverage reusable components, etc.- Provide an opportunity to catch issues early without impacting long term release planning
Partner with program/project managers to define project plans and reporting metrics
Provide any technical consulting to resolve design, development, testing and operation issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum fifteen (10) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Management strongly preferred.
Minimum ten (10) years of progressive IT solutions experience in roles of increasing responsibilities.
Recent experience as a Software/IT Architect, with responsibility for architecting large-scale secure enterprise class solutions involving Adobe Digital Marketing platform and products. Strong systems integration experience.
AEM Architect who have experience implementing 3 to 5 AEM and Cloud based sites using AEM/CQ version 5.6+ for volumes of users exceeding 200k per day
Experience designing and/or implementing solutions for: Web Content Management, Rich internet applications, Web & Social Analytics, Marketing Automation, Online Ad targeting, Content Personalization
Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences
Experience building integrated architecture using DTM (Dynamic Tag Manager), Analytics, Target, Audience Manager and Campaign.
Strong front-end experience designing and building responsive web sites using HTML5, CSS, LESS, SASS, JavaScript preferably using SPA (Single Page Application) frameworks such as Angular 1.x/2.0, TypeScript, NodeJS, Webpack, and thorough knowledge of web site performance optimization.
Experience building hybrid mobile applications, preferably integrating sites hosted in AEM
Experience building application using AEM Forms
Experience building caching strategy using Dispatcher and CDN for a highly scalable web sites.
Experience building SEO strategy, vanity URL solutions, integration with both internal and external search engines.
Experience designing improved content authoring experience for large authoring community
Backend experience developing OSGI services/components, API’s using NodeJS and related technologies, to support front-end
Experience with other AEM modules such as DAM, Forms and mobile
Experience in architecting resilient applications, infrastructure and capacity planning and production operations.
Experience with build automation tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle and Grunt/Gulp
Experience in TDD and test software including jUnit, TestNG, Jasmine, Mocha, Karma and Mock frameworks
Experience in online marketing and advertising including - SEO (Search Engine Optimization) / SEM (Search Engine Marketing) 
Must have hands-on software development background.
Ability to communicate at both at executive level and to technical teams.
