The SAP FICO Analyst will work within our IT organization to provide support for SAP Finance
modules. The analyst will interact with internal IT and business resources and will need to be
able to provide instruction and advice when needed. The candidate should be familiar with
Procure to Pay business processes including expense reporting and process improvement
processes. The primary need is for this analyst to review the problem statement and
requirements and devise the best solution that fits within the Roche IT framework and ERP
landscape. The core skills for this analyst position will be as follows:
Analyze and develop solutions to meet customer business needs across the SAP landscape.
Perform current systems analysis and requirements gathering. Hands on configuration experience in SAP
Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, Assets, etc.). Knowledgeable of FI integration points with other functional
Design, develop test and implement solutions through configuration and/or development.
Coordinate user testing of programs, systems and interfaces.
Develop unit test plans to ensure complete functionality has been addressed and in working condition.
Maintain detailed documentation for required functional specifications. Ability to translate functional
requirements into technical requirements and approach. Ability to interface directly with developers to
achieve the goal.
Gather SAP security requirements where needed.
