The Sales Development Rep (SDR) position will be responsible for working within the sales team to generate new opportunities through outbound phone & written communications. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a  strong communicator, great learner, methodical, tenacious, and enjoy working within a tightly-knit team. 

What You Will Do
  • Enthusiastically prospect and qualify opportunities for the sales team
  • Develop a strong pipeline of target-profiled opportunities to contact and set appointments
  • Create buyer interest by quickly identifying a value gap between current & future state 
  • Document opportunity profiles within Salesforce CRM
  • Achieve defined productivity goals regarding appointments & outbound communications
  • Leverage CRM and web research tools as needed
  • Learn how to powerfully grow to the next level of sales professional!

What You Need to Succeed
  • 1-3  years work experience in Sales Development and/or Direct Marketing 
  • Ability to learn, listen and solve problems effectively 
  • Demonstrated strengths in verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to communicate empathy and confidence in out-bound contacts
  • A commanding desire to continuously learn and succeed in tech sales 
  • The ability to write succinct, crisp messages and a great phone/video meeting manner 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com as a product platform, is a plus
  • Knowledge of the following industry sectors a strong plus: Communications, Manufacturing, XaaS
