Launch Operations Manager

EXOS Aerospace Systems & Technologies, Inc. is a leading developer and operator of reusable space vehicles. Our goal is to remove the commercial barriers to space by providing frequent and affordable launch opportunities to space.
 
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team, you will push the boundaries of what’s possible in medical research, space education, and space manufacturing! This position demands a strong and capable self-starter who can meet aggressive goals and schedules in a dynamic environment. This position requires considerable judgment and latitude in performing job duties and is expected to function effectively with minimal supervision. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
 
 EXOS Aerospace is rapidly expanding to meet the global demand for our commercial reusable launch service. Our Greenville facility is seeking passionate, highly-skilled individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic, technically-challenging environment where they will be given ownership of processes from start to finish.  LAUNCH OPERATIONS MANAGER:

This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between all ancillary input and output organizations to ensure that components and assemblies flow smoothly through the production areas to meet stringent deadlines and Quality standards. 
 RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Support Logistics process through innovative staging of workflow per launch
  • Provide oversight to all launch activities to ensure on-time execution
  • Coordinate personnel movements and tasks prior, during and post launch
  • Coordinate movement of equipment to and from launch sites
  • Coordinate purchase and delivery of consumables needed for each flight
  • Support Productivity improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of Supply Chain and Manufacturing experience
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Strong Computer skills, fluent with the suite of MS office products
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace or electronic manufacturing environments
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted for some assignments
  • Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required for some assignments
  • Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), and eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
