Our Greenville facility is seeking passionate, highly-skilled individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic, technically-challenging environment where they will be given ownership of processes from start to finish. LEAD GNC ENGINEER:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Model and optimize Earth-to-orbit and suborbital trajectories for a range of launch vehicle configurations
- Work closely with systems and design engineers to develop integrated design solutions and rapidly assess conceptual designs
- Support trade studies relating to subsystem design, architecture, and operation
- Identify launch windows for beyond-LEO missions given myriad constraints
- Documentation and maintenance of analysis inputs, models, and results in report and Databook format.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in trajectory optimization and mission design
- Experience using trajectory analysis tools such as TAOS, POST, OTIS, STK Astrogator, or Copernicus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in launch, spacecraft and reentry systems
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with high-lift devices, flow control, stability or control design
- Experience using OTIS and MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with post-flight data analysis
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary.

- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), and eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
