Outside Sales - Manufacturer's Rep

Our client is an established Manufacturer's Rep that has been around since the 1970's.  They serve industries such as automotive, food and beverage, packaging, and others.

We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Professional for the Southern Ontario Region. In this role, you will ensure a high level of customer service and be responsible for increasing sales within your territory.

Main Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing a sound sales plan to increase sales revenue and meet assigned targets
  • Planning sales exhibits and trade show agendas
  • Cold calling 
  • Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers
  • Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining customers
  • Must be willing to travel 2-3 nights per week
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar (preferred)
  • Experience in sales or sales support
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Curiosity and passion for the industry
