Our client is an established Manufacturer's Rep that has been around since the 1970's. They serve industries such as automotive, food and beverage, packaging, and others.
We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Professional for the Southern Ontario Region. In this role, you will ensure a high level of customer service and be responsible for increasing sales within your territory.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Developing a sound sales plan to increase sales revenue and meet assigned targets
- Planning sales exhibits and trade show agendas
- Cold calling
- Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers
- Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining customers
- Must be willing to travel 2-3 nights per week
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar (preferred)
- Experience in sales or sales support
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Sense of urgency
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Mechanical aptitude
- Curiosity and passion for the industry
