Our client is a customer service focused industry leader in the building materials space. They are a leading distributor that works with the best products and installation solutions.
We are currently looking for a customer service focussed individual to help process orders over the phone or via the internet in the Bloomington area. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.
Job Description:
- Work with customers on a daily basis to process orders and answer questions
- Help resolve customer related issues or escalate as needed
- Utilize the internet and phone to take customer orders for processing
- Customers will be anyone from General Contractors and Home Owners to internal Sales Staff
- Enter orders into system after working with customers online or over the phone to determine needs and part numbers
- Develop a working knowledge of available products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Customer Service experience is required
- Data Entry experience is required
- Attention to detail and organization skills are necessary
- Must be comfortable taking inbound calls
- Experience with Microsoft Office is necessary (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be able to utilize the internet to work with incoming orders
- Experience in building materials and distribution is a plus
- Must be able to communicate and follow-up with co-workers and customers
- Must be able to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
