A taste of what you’ll do:
You’ll be responsible for consultative sales and relationship management for wealth management (RIA) clients. In particular you will:
- Manage client relationships, driving success towards achieving key business goals
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and demonstrate the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
- Manage consultative sales cycle from lead to close
- Conduct regular business reviews, track appropriate standard KPIs, and identify custom KPIs to measure client success; identify strategic initiatives or best practice optimizations to add value to client relationship
- Take ultimate accountability for client outcomes; proactive and highly engaged in communications
- Successfully conduct executive meetings and regular business reviews with minimal oversight; comfortable leading difficult conversations with clients
- Can proactively identify/anticipate adoption issues, misalignments, and/or gaps; own escalation processes
- Travel required (up to 30% of time)
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 5-7 years in relationship management, focused on wealth management
- A proven track record of exceeding business development / sales targets
- A deep understanding of the wealth management industry
- Experience in building relationships and garnering trust with executive decision makers and influencers
- Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline and close business
- In depth understanding of financial products, particularly equities (and ideally ESG)
- Exceptional organizational, communication & listening skills
- Series 65 registration
