Director of Marketing

We're looking for a Director of Marketing who is eager to help us as we redefine private markets. WHAT YOU'LL DO 
  • Own the marketing process from ideation to implementation to optimization
  • Encourage and champion data-driven decision making within the organization
  • Conduct experiments across different campaign mediums (online and offline) to determine which are optimal for effective user acquisition
  • Automate and implement technological solutions to help drive efficiency, attribution, and overall reporting
  • Establish, monitor, and drive KPIs across the marketing team
  • Manage and mentor team members to achieve team goals
  • Be a key stakeholder to help scale the company and drive overall growth

THE RIGHT STUFF 
  • 4+ years running digital marketing and/or advertising at a venture backed startup
  • 3+ years of experience outlining and executing on marketing strategy
  • At least a 4-year undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience recruiting, managing, and mentoring team members
  • Proven success running digital advertising across multiple platforms, especially Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices to help drive user acquisition
  • Experience running A/B tests for marketing content
  • Demonstrated ability to jumpstart user acquisition across traditional and experimental channels
  • Advanced familiarity with analytic platforms, such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel

  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry 
  • Experience with brand building efforts, such as PR and Events
  • Desire to work in an agile / lean environment
  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • First-hand understanding of marketplace businesses
