Description:
The EMQ's HR Manager role performs and oversees a variety of Human Resource affairs that collectively contribute to the functionality and appearance of the office.
Responsibility:
- Experienced in handling a wide range of HR administrative and executive tasks; capable to work independently with little or no supervision and establish successful relationships with all levels of employees
- Full-cycled/functioned management of all Human Resource related issues/matters – e.g. orientation, training lessons, payroll administration, employee’s statutory insurance enrollment
- Support expatriate work permit and visa applications, employee data maintenance, research new employee and substitutes, preliminary salary and benefit policy interpretation and other employee benefit matters
- Ensure that all EMQ business and functions comply with national and other relevant legislation and standards relating to pre-employment, employment and post-employment phases.
- Cooperate with corporate HRs on regional/global HR projects such as international assignments for expatriates.
- Supervise the operation of Labor Management Meetings (LMM).
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant academic subject; fluent English and Mandarin language skills is a must
- At least 8+ year experience serving as HR in charge of full function HR affairs, ideally in a Multinational Corporation (MNC)
- Strong working knowledge of the relevant functional area(s) – e.g. employment law, customs and practices; familiar with HR management responsibilities, systems, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail oriented and diligent in managing multiple priorities, tasks, and projects.
- Flexible to work at short notice and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and adapting at thinking on your feet when faced with frequent problems
- Proven effectiveness managing external service providers and associated costs
