Senior Product Manager - Consumer Products
We’re looking for new Senior Product Management guns to join our team as Group Product Manager – Consumer. Your role will oversee the product strategy of our consumer-facing business, including the EMQ Send product in Taiwan and the future strategy for consumer products.
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, this role will play a senior role in the Consumer Product team. You’ll be working closely with the EMQ team to deliver an outstanding customer experience that facilitates seamless cross-border settlement and financial inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of product initiatives and releases. Be able to communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your product decisions
- Work with senior management to drive strategic objectives for the company through our product roadmap
- Demonstrate EQ in your interactions with stakeholders across the business and customer landscape
- Be a thought and key opinion leader at the company
- Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for product initiatives and releases
- Collaborate with customers, business, engineers, and designers to define the service and product
- Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones
- Prioritize and sequence product initiatives against a mandate
- Perform market research and analysis
- Understand different functional roles within the business and their requirements in relation to products and services
- Be an effective & proactive communicator in both written and spoken English (and Mandarin ideal but not required)
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Define and execute software test cycles for internal and external stakeholders
- Understand and guide customers through custom API workflows
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience in consumer digital financial services or similar stream
- Demonstratable experience pitching and delivering products & strategies for top tier clients across geographic regions
- Experience working in cross-cultural organizations
- Technical background, understanding of system architecture and processes with experience in software development at either the development, project or product level
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work well with designers and software engineers
- An analytical and metrics-driven work style
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience at a startup, software or consumer internet company highly regarded
