Position Summary
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk works in a high paced production environment and is highly motivated to ensure patients and clients receive prescriptions in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk will support the pharmacy by maintaining the pharmacy workflow and meeting shipping deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping labels and shipping packaging to ensure correct delivery to patients
- Investigate wrongly delivered and lost packages
- Verify addresses using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip or USPS Endicia software suites
- Utilizes the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
- Processes patient charges from patient order documents
- Ensure the shipping area is clean and neat at all times
- Complete special projects assigned by supervisor

- Ability to multi-mask and meet deadlines with little supervision
