 Position Summary

The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk works in a high paced production environment and is highly motivated to ensure patients and clients receive necessary prescriptions in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk will support the pharmacy by maintaining the pharmacy workflow to meeting shipping deadlines.  

Responsibilities

  • Prepares shipping labels and shipping packaging to ensure correct delivery to patients
  • Investigate mis-delivery of orders
  • Verifies addresses using FedEx Ship Manager or USPS website before label prints
  • Utilizes the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedurJob Type: Full-timees to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
  • Processes patient charges from patient order document 
  • Ensure the shipping area is clean and neat at all times
  • Completes special projects assigned by supervisor

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced working environment
  • Ability to multi-mask and meet deadlines with little supervision

Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

  • High school diploma or GED
