About Elementary
Elementary Robotics is a full-stack robotics company based in Downtown Los Angeles. We’re backed by great investors including Fika Ventures, Fathom Capital, Toyota AI Ventures, Idealab, and more! At Elementary we want to bring robot assistants into the world that scale and improve day-to-day repetitive tasks. To achieve this, we’re developing a robotic platform that reduce both the price and complexity barriers traditionally associated with robotics. We have a sharp go-to-market strategy and what you work on will be launching to the world! You’ll join a lean, fast-paced team with experts across the robotic stack and will contribute meaningfully to bring our (and your!) dreams to life.
What You'll Do
- Deeply understand our full robotics stack in order to tailor solutions for individual customers
- Travel to customer facilities in order to expertly install, bring up and service our robots
- Integrate customer-specific hardware and software peripherals and solutions to our base robotic platform
- Work closely with customers to identify their requirements and relay the needs back to the rest of the engineering team
- Bring your experience in systems integration, customer service and project management into our young company to help us shape and grow the Robotics Integration division
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience with system integration of robotic systems or similar hardware products
- Strong experience with software development for linux systems
- Flexible skillset across the range of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software)
- Willingness to travel to customer facilities frequently
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with Python
- Strong experience with git and docker
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Experience with project management
