Supporting the Eleanor Health management team and broader organization, the Intern will be involved in a range of projects to support standing up the organization, launching its first clinics in Sept, 2019, and expanding into new markets. As an early-stage startup, this is a unique opportunity for a talented and internally-driven individual to get his or her hands in the details of setting up and building a mission-driven organization.
Importantly, he or she must be passionate about solving this opioid and substance use crisis and transforming the way we deliver accessible, evidence-based, and clinically excellent care in the substance use disorder space.
Candidate Responsibilities
The Intern will work on one or multiple projects during their internship. Potential projects include:
Ø Support the CEO and management in preparing for board, potential customer, and current client presentations
Ø Support development of marketing, social media, and other externally-facing presence
Ø Support or lead onboarding and procurement process for new team members, contractors, and vendors
Ø Support or lead vendor selection process for internal technologies and tools necessary to support early-stage operations
Ø Navigate legal and corporate structuring requirements for entering into new markets (state regulations, credentialing, etc)
Ø Research new markets, identify key community and provider stakeholders, work with market readiness team to build relationships
Ø Support early customer deliverables including market analysis and cost/pricing
Ø Support hiring teams in Boston and other markets including writing job specs, reviewing candidate resumes, and screening candidates by phone
Ø Serve as an ambassador of the company to support talent recruitment, business development, and patient engagement
Ø Ad hoc administrative, operations, and finance projects as defined by the management team and CEO
Candidate Qualifications
Ø Experience in a fast-paced work environment similar to a start-up, consulting company, or comparable organization
Ø Ability to work across teams and functions, self-starter who quickly identifies what needs to be done and takes ownership
Ø Proficient (or able to quickly and independently become proficient) in Quickbooks, basic accounting, excel, and learning new technologies and tools
Ø Comfortable with ambiguity and taking on a variety of tasks, as needed
