Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Rep (BDR), you will be the first contact for many Edgewise prospects with the goal of driving conversations and demos on our Zero Trust Network Security technology. Successful BDRs will possess an ability to develop strong business relationships and sell in a fast paced environment. The BDR will partner with Sales, Marketing and Senior Management in driving the early stages of the sales cycle and develop strategies to build our sales pipeline for the future.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and manage prospecting to qualify new leads through calls, emails and other channels
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing and senior management to develop and implement strategies to build our sales pipeline
  • Facilitate the discovery process with prospective buyers and create next steps including scheduling demos and meetings for further qualification
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals and defined objectives

Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated, competitive team player who is driven to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence others
  • 1+ years’ experience working in inside sales or lead generation
  • 1+ years of experience using marketing automation/lead nurturing systems (i.e. Hubspot)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
