Position
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate people to join our team as full-time Job Coach for our contract with SEPHORA, North Las Vegas location.

Summary of Position:
The Job Coach is responsible for the training of participants at the SEPHORA workplace training program work site. The job coach will utilize specified teaching techniques to instruct participants in designated jobs within the Sephora work site. The job coach ensures all assigned worksites are maintained to the highest quality standards. Implements Easterseals and Sephora’s mission & values by providing participants the opportunity for employment in a competitive integrated setting. This position is based on the active contract with Sephora.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Orients, trains and supervises participants to Sephora policies and procedures including safety precautions and provides job coaching.
- Performs duties independently which includes pick, put wall and pack.
- Utilizes training techniques to instruct participants in specific task, work skills, habits and behaviors.
- Foster and promotes the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the work place.
- Ensures quality and performance standards are maintained according to job specifications of Sephora’s work site (which may include performing the job in the participant’s absence) while still exercise the ability to hold all participants accountable.
- Responsible for documenting and reporting compliance per Easterseals. Provides weekly and daily reports to the Assistant Director of Programs and Services on progress of job coaching.
- Maintains regular contact with Sephora and Assistant Director of Programs and Services as appropriate.
- Assist individuals to fill out application and resume building.
- Foster positive relationships with Sephora through communication of information, following Sephora’s policies and procedures
- Presents self in a professional and appropriate manner towards participants, co-workers and Sephora.
- Any other program related duties assigned by Assistant Director.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain relationship with Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and procedures manuals.
- Ability to conduct background checks
- Ability to work with people that have severe, profound and multiple disabilities on a daily basis.
- Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral.
- Ability to provide accurate case documentation
- Follow Easterseals Nevada and Sephora’s dress code.
- Hours of work are based on programmatic and Sephora’s business needs. Must be able to have flexible work schedule which may include working evenings and weekends.
Qualifications (education, training, experience, licenses)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience serving individuals with disabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Google (Gmail) required.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid Nevada driver’s license required and reliable transportation
- Must be able to operate Easterseals vehicle and transport participants as need.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. The noise level will be moderate and/or occasionally loud.
