Sr. Quality Assurance Technician

The Role

The Sr. Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for Leading Lab efforts for Refurbish and Return of product, and processing of each, including device failure analysis, provide training, overseeing process flow, and tracking of returns and refurbished product.  In addition, support QA team with inspection of finished goods from the contract manufacturer and in-house manufacturing line.
 
The Responsibilities 

●      Inspection/ Finished Goods/Returned Goods/Device Disinfection & Cleaning
●      Perform device disinfection and cleaning towards reprocessing per established procedures. 
●      Maintain records of inspection. 
●      Perform testing of disinfected devices 
●      Training employees related to Inspection, Refurbish, and RMAs
●      Track and  Analysis of data, refurbished units, including RMAs and Complaints
●      Failure analysis of complaint RMA units per established procedure
●      Product Release for all inspection, Refurb, or RMA units, including DHR Review
●      Address and resolve quality issues independently or as a team in a timely manner
●      Initiate or assist in Non-Conformance Material Report, CAPA’s or SCARs as needed
●      Support QA activities as needed under an engineer's direction
 
The Qualifications 

●      Able to effectively communicate
●      Good understanding of FDA, ISO requirements for medical device development
●      Must be able to understand and execute on directions
●      Must be detail orientated, well organized and have good oral and written communication skills
●      Effectively Lead and direct in order to accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
●      Must be proficient in the use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
●      Excel skills to generate spreadsheets, performance reports for QA performance
●      Minimum 3-5 years experience in a medical device company
●      Physical Environment/working conditions - assembly line, able to lift up to 40lbs
