Dwolla is accepting applications for the Delivery Management role, a key position in every product development project. Delivery Managers are embedded in each of our agile development teams, where their primary focus is removing impediments that block or slow the team down. Candidates should have a fierce desire to seek out and remove any impediments that kill productivity and hold back progress. At the heart of a good Delivery Manager is the insatiable desire to see projects through the finish line.
Candidates for the Delivery Management position should have infectious enthusiasm and be natural-born leaders. Delivery Managers must be quick learners, as they have to grasp and articulate technical concepts on a daily basis. They must be able to establish credibility and rapport with technical team members, and should possess the skills to coordinate technical items with both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are a requirement, as Delivery Managers need to identify team impediments and proactively find solutions on-the-fly. What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate the agile product development process through iteration planning, backlog grooming, review, and retrospective meetings
- Communicate throughout the organization on behalf of the team
- Provide visibility of project status to other teams and senior management
- Work with other product teams to organize, schedule, and deliver work dependencies in large cross-team projects.
- Promote continuous improvement and protect our culture of innovation.
- Remove impediments that block team progress
- Act as servant leader to lead execution and delivery
- Facilitate Scrum, Kanban, and Lean processes
- Communicate, provide project visibility and transparency
- Leverage project management skills to organize large and highly complicated projects
What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years’ experience with agile product development, project management, or technology related work
- A passion for progress
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience with Jira
