Project Manager - Community

About the role:
We’re looking for a Project Manager who can work across multiple teams within the department to ensure that we deliver a cohesive and engaging content experience.  The ideal candidate for this role is extremely process-oriented, hyper-organized, and proactive. Experience working in a startup environment is strongly recommended but not required.

You will:
  • Manage the daily operation of a complex set of teams and content types, including a globally distributed production team
  • Ensure the team rhythm is clear and maintains a healthy cadence
  • Work with the social team to execute cross-platform campaigns
  • Oversee all stages of video production including creating scopes and estimates, maintaining budgets, writing shot-lists, managing post-production, and publishing across digital platforms.
  • Oversee any event production including location scouting in various US cities, working with local production teams, interfacing with sponsors, and maintaining budgets.
  • Work with product and community teams to ensure deadlines are met across all campaigns
  • You’ll support all needs around work environment including internal tools
  • Own the strategy on information radiation through our central tools (Notion, monday.com, Clubhouse, Slack, etc), and find creative ways to help our teams connect with our objectives


You have:
  • Confirmed experience running highly effective teams that deliver products and have fun while doing it
  • 3+ years of project management skills, preferably in an agile environment
  • The ability to work independently and initiate activities, set priorities, lead multiple priorities and deliver on-time results
  • An understanding of project management and tracking tools such as Excel/Sheets, Microsoft Project, Monday, Smartsheet, Basecamp, Jira, Asana, Airtable, Trello, or similar
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills and decision-making abilities, making you an independent and proactive part of the team 
  • Experience with social media and digital video platforms
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage branded video finances from budgeting, creation of SOWs, execution, and actualization of final costs (not required)
