Associate Director, Account Management

The Associate Director, Account Management leads a regional team of 5-7 Account Managers to ensure that clients’ business needs are met through quality client service. This person will work closely with the necessary parties within Dstillery to guide strategic clients on best practices for structuring sustainable and profitable campaigns. This highly visible position works closely with other department’s leadership and members of the AM management team in order to achieve their goals. 


  • Manage regional account management team, including overseeing the hiring, onboarding, and continued training & development of the AM team
  • Retain the existing client base through ensuring quality client service and superior campaign performance is met throughout the entire client experience
  • Grow the existing client base through overseeing the management of the incremental and cross-selling process
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key individuals within the clients’ organization
  • Understand the client’s business needs in order to work with key Dstillery departments to ensure Dstillery products and services are properly aligned to meet their needs
  • Monitor and manage business KPIs as assigned, including campaign delivery and profitability
  • Manage client assignments for assigned region

  • 4-6 years of digital account management in digital marketing
  • Excellent presentation skills coupled with the confidence to effectively communicate complex ideas in front of large or small audiences of varying authority (e.g. Media Buyers to Chief Marketing Officers)
  • Highly detail-oriented & strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Successful multi-tasker
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business/Economics/Advertising majors are a plus)
