Accounting Supervisor

In the next 10 years, it is estimated that manufacturers will need to fill 3.5m manufacturing jobs. But over half of those jobs will go unfilled due to a shortage of skilled workers. We are currently looking to fill the Accounting Supervisor role at Dozuki. In this role, you will account for the financial performance of Dozuki and report results to management. This is a growth opportunity position.

What You'd Be Doing:


Accounting
  • General ledger management
  • Recording and reconciliation of transactions
  • Allocation of costs
  • Revenue recognition
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation

Budgeting
  • Facilitate the budgeting process, including assisting department heads develop draft budgets
  • Aggregate department budgets into proforma financials and cash flow projections
  • Monitor budget to actual variances

Reporting
  • Regularly report departmental financial performance
  • Prepare regular management reports
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting

Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with laws and contracts
  • Assist with tax compliance and filings
  • Assist with legal compliance and investor relations
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls

Qualified — you have an accounting or economics degree, accounting certification, or are seriously interesting in getting one (or both).
