DOWNEAST CIDER
are you a game changer? a results oriented gatekeeper who isn’t afraid to hit the ground running and think outside the box? do your synergies align with a culture of paradigm-shifters-disruptiveinthespace-shake-things-up-verticals-within-collaboratorsINNOVATINGforTOMORROWbecauseTOMORROWISTODAY?!?!?!
no? good.
we want to lead american cider. our road is unknown, the market’s getting crowded, and our competitors have more money, more people, and more experience. success so far hasn’t been easy to come by, and success in the future isn’t a given. we’re using the resources at hand, seizing every opportunity we get, and taking our unfiltered approach to the top.
we are hiring a regional sales director to manage our maine, vermont and new hampshire territory.
REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR
the maine, nh, vt territory has four wholesalers across 54,351 square miles, and represents three of our four most mature markets. you’re coming into a successful yet demanding region. to secure sustained growth you must be meticulously organized, able to prioritize, and build clear strategy and vision to execute. sales is about more than shaking hands and closing deals, it’s also having the thorough followthrough to make sure nothing slips through the cracks and hold yourself accountable to the back end paperwork.
in your work: you are happy to be independent, enjoy analytically and tactfully maneuvering your way through challenges, and are seriously organized. you approach your craft with discipline and pragmatism. you can make (and stick to!) your own ‘systems’, and will work your ass off to get placements and win friends. you also enjoy driving - lots of driving.
in your personality: you’re fun as hell and everybody knows it. you’re a chameleon who is able to read a room. you’re assertive and persistent in the face of failure. most of all, you are caring. you care enough to make actual connections with the people you talk to and about the product you bring them. you won’t have success if you don’t actually give a shit.
