Dishwasher / Steward

Position: PM Steward 
Operate dishwashing machine, clean pots and pans, and clean kitchen area 
Cleaning Skills/Essential Functions:
Operate dishwashing machine Clean pots and pans in three compartment sink 
Keep entire kitchen area clean, including counters, floors and equipment 
Re-stock all clean dishware, utensils and other kitchen equipment. Use chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment properly Perform other duties as requested. 

Adhere to applicable Dos Brisas Standard Operating Procedures Guest Relations Skills: 
Take every opportunity to amaze the guests, co-workers Smile, have eye contact any greet guests, co-workers immediately Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times, including uniform and name tag 
Handle special requests promptly:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. 
Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. 
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meeting is required. 
Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with Dos Brisas rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel facilities. Associates who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. 

Supportive Functions: 
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel

Safety and Security Skills: 
Maintain a clean and orderly work area free of hazards 
Properly handle and account for keys 
Be knowledgeable of policies regarding emergency procedures, lost and found items and security concerns Adhere to all Health Department requirements 

Asset Management Skills: 
Operate and clean equipment properly Be careful with hotel property
Promptly report all maintenance issues If requested, assist in receiving and storing food and other deliveries 

Knowledge Requirements - Prior experience preferred 
Must have strong customer service orientation
Must have strong team orientation
