Donuts is looking for a driven self-starter Senior Accountant to become a member of our close-knit Finance team. Core responsibilities for this role 
 
·      Own all aspects of the accounting and reporting of the company’s Registrar business www.name.com
·      Take ownership of process improvements. Document business processes and assess current processes for efficiency 
·      Responsible for month-end close process including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis 
·      Processing of accounts payable invoices and managing of cash receipts related to the Registrar business
·      Daily/weekly management of funding and reconciling of registry balances for the Registrar business
·      Participate in non-routine projects such as cross functional projects, reconciliation issues, system implementations, etc. 
·      Support integrations with any new businesses acquired
·      Provide technical accounting advise and analysis as necessary
·      Assist in financial reporting including preparation of financial statements and footnotes 
·      Prepare reports and schedules required for audits and tax compliance
·      Demonstrated ability to partner closely with the business, providing valuable insights and data to optimize business results

Requirements for this role
 
·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
·      5 to 7 years progressive accounting experience; a mix of public and private accounting preferred
·      Strong understanding of US GAAP and general understanding of relevant tax issues
·      Experience with NetSuite a plus
·      Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word). Google
·      Proficiency with pivot tables and formulas in Excel
