CFS is assisting our client, a privately-held O&G company, with their search for a Family Office - Tax Manager. The Senior Manager will be joining a strong, close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have Big 4 experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for tax accounting and compliance functions, support acquisition, disposition and operation of companies and assets
- SME in family office tax issues.
- Formulate strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Research tax legislation, statutes, regulations and rulings and develop responses
- Manage tax budgets and forecasts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in individual, partnership & S-Corporation taxation
- Experience with real estate and aircraft (business and personal use)
- Knowledge of investment partnerships, securities transactions and various types of investments
- Knowledge of estate planning transactions, trusts, and operation of private trust companies, ranching, manufacturing and Oil & Gas is a plus
- Experience with ranching, manufacturing, and Oil & Gas is a plus
- Experience with Family Office investments preferred
- Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Optional: Quickbooks, Enertia
