Responsibilities of the Director Accounts Receivable include:
- Implementing the plan designed by the Controller and CFO to achieve the accounts receivable goals, monitor/measure receivable performance and provide support/reporting to branch management.
- Organize customer maintenance
- Researching and resolves accounts receivable issues, maintaining clean Accounts Receivable Aging report, and developing segregation of duty within the A/R department.
Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Director include:
- 10+ years of experience within the distribution, manufacturing and services industries
- 8+ years of Accounts Receivable management experience required
- Experience supervising a shared services team (or team of 20-30+ staff)
- GL coding experience required
- Experience automating and streamlining AR processes
- Experience with audits at a large, publicly traded company
- Understanding of V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions an advantage)
- Experience with Coupa or Ariba (3rd party billing software)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping with significant knowledge and experience with accounting systems and GAAP.
