Vice President of Human Resources
Position
As a senior leader, he/she will lead our efforts to make DivvyCloud a fantastic place to work and grow. He/she will work with other leaders in identifying the skills, talent, and positions needed support our rapid growth and competitive position in the market. The VP of HR will also manage the implementation of the human resources processes and programs necessary to support a culture and work space that embodies our core values. We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated self-starter, who can effectively prioritize and accomplish objectives in a fast-paced environment and become a trusted advisor to the management team for all people related matters. This position requires both strategy and consultation, and active participation with the People Team, Executive and Extended Leadership Teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a strategic advisor to our management team for all things relating to People Operations/HR
- Develop a comprehensive road map and talent strategy for growing our team from 50+ to 250+ by attracting top talent and retaining high performers within the company
- Install a disciplined framework for evaluating candidates and ensuring the interview experience is seamless and enjoyable
- Develop and manage innovative benefits programs creating a positive employee experience and competitive advantage in the market for talent
- Make sure people’s experience with DivvyCloud always stays in line with our company culture and values
- Consistently incorporate diverse and inclusive practices for all employees and candidates
- Ensure regular performance evaluation, feedback and personal development contribute to employee growth and ability to meet job expectations
- Review compensation and job structures including position evaluation and classification; review of job grades and salary ranges
- Lead and direct the work of the Human Resources staff to include Recruiting, Culture, Security and Workplace Management
- Provide direct counsel to senior management and staff on all HR issues including grievances, dispute resolution and terminations and work with outside counsel when appropriate
- Ensure coherence and compliance across the HR discipline to include overseeing compliance with U.S. Federal and State employment laws; OFCCP, Benefits, and overseeing data integrity and confidentiality of the HRIS and other personnel information
EXPERIENCE
- 7 to 10 years of Human Resources management
- BS/BA in business, HR, Social Sciences or a related field
- Experience scaling people operations at start-up/venture backed/high-growth companies
- Experience managing a team of HR and Talent Acquisition professionals
- Experience implementing performance management tools and processes
- Managing the onboarding and training at a high-growth tech company
- Successfully promoting a culture of Diversity and Inclusion
- Collaborating with and supporting creative and technology professionals
- Ability to use metrics and analytics
- Aptitude in communicating and public speaking
- Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
- Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, HRIS, Benefits Administration)
