Production Support Engineer - Customer Success Team
Position
An exciting opportunity for deeply technical application engineers who have a passion for cloud and container technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and Kurbernetes.  Qualified candidates provide technical and troubleshooting support for the cloud operations, security, compliance and devops teams within our enterprise customers such as General Electric, Discovery Communications, and Fannie Mae.  Our enterprise customers rely DivvyCloud’s  software to automate security and compliance of their highly dynamic, public cloud infrastructure. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Managed multiple hosted implementations of DivvyCloud software for leading enterprise customers.

  • Create tools and best practices to evaluate customer installations and proactively identify problems, ensuring the smooth operation and scaling of the DivvyCloud platform.

  • Highlight potential areas where we can drive additional value and efficiencies for our customers.

  • Provide a technical peer relationship to leading customer points of contact for planning and execution of scale, security, automation and operational initiatives. 

  • Facilitate initial implementation, upgrades, and daily management of our software.

  • Pro-active monitoring of infrastructure and DivvyCloud platform to ensure optimal performance.

  • Respond to unexpected provider and infrastructure downtime.


Qualifications

  • Previous system administration experience

  • Passion for figuring out “the answer” to complex technical problems, dedication to customer follow-up, and a thirst for knowledge and continuous learning.

  • Broad, hands-on experience with AWS (GCP and Azure bonus).

  • Broad Linux experience across multiple distributions (minimally RedHat and Ubuntu).

  • Ability to troubleshoot generic network connectivity issues.

  • Ability to troubleshoot MySQL server/client operations; and write queries.

  • Knowledge of Docker / Container based technologies. 

  • SSO/SAML/Authentication experience (bonus).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; unique ability to communicate complex technical topics to a variety of stakeholders.

  • BA/BS computer sciences, or relevant experience. 

  • 5+ years experience working in an enterprise technical role with a track record of success

  • Experience in a fast-growth, highly innovative technology company.

  • Self-motivated, organized, a great teammate, high-energy and diligent work ethic.
