Job Description
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Executives that sell Google Cloud products and services. This includes hiring, training, forecast management, performance analysis, and day-to-day coaching/talent development. Accurately forecast and report the regional sales and develop strategies and key opportunities needed to reach sales department objectives and quotas. Identify trends and work cross departmentally with the marketing, operations and professional services departments to develop and improve strategies and processes to optimize and profitize lead generation, new business, and account management. Foster strategic relationships and attend key business development events.
What You’ll Do:
- Create, maintain and socialize sales strategy
- Create, maintain and socialize sales documentation and centralize accordingly
- Discover opportunities for account development and new business
- Measure and analyze key performance indicators
- Forecast and report key metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to leadership (revenue actuals, pipeline, etc.)
- Collaborate with product team leads to convert product revenue targets to regional goals (annual, quarterly and monthly).
- Develop and distribute regional goals to individual account representative level (Account Rep. Quotas)
- Meet & work with regional managers and leadership to analyze and forecast sales data, align with strategy and objectives.
- Work with the marketing department to develop key events for lead gen and account growth.
- Work with PSO department to develop unified sales strategy for Dito Cloud services.
- Coach account representatives on sales strategy, lead generation, etc.
- Conduct performance evaluation reviews and provide feedback in a timely manner
- Identify and develop leaders within Region
- Identify hiring needs, assist in hiring selection and train new account executives
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility and recommend improvements
- Attend key marketing and sales events
- Foster positive culture
What you need to succeed:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- 2-3 years experience managing & coaching a sales team
- Must have experience with Cloud sales
- Experience with talent development
- Ability to quickly assess skills gaps and develop improvement plans
- Experience setting and managing revenue targets
Travel: Less than 15% travel required.
