Quit Smoking Coach
Quit Genius is a multi award-winning mobile therapy program to help smokers quit for good. Role description
We're looking for a full-time Quit Coach to join the team. Within the app, certain users have the ability to speak one-to-one (text chat) with a psychologist. You will be checking in with these users on a weekly basis (through text chat on the app and on the phone) and be on hand when they are experiencing any difficulties. This isn’t a one-off job - we want to bring someone on board for the long-term and integrate them into our awesome team :) You will work closely with the whole team contributing to the fast growth of the business and gaining first-hand experience of what it takes to scale up a successful business.
What you’ll do:
- Speak to users on a weekly basis through text-based chat and check-in with them to see how they are progressing on their quit smoking journey.
- Onboard the users with a short initial phone call.
- Offer advice on how to deal with their cravings and any difficult situations.
- Be supportive and encouraging to users to motivate them on their quit smoking journey.
- Monitor the progress of users.
- Help someone transform their life and the life of their family by quitting smoking, for good!
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience delivering CBT and/or smoking cessation behavioral support.
- NCSCT Certified Qualifications
- Good availability during the week to take onboarding calls and speak to users
- Psychology and/or clinical background
- Very strong communication skills
- Tech-savvy
- Bonus: quantitative/qualitative research experience
