Hello prospective pickle! Design Pickle is currently looking for a Public Relations Intern to come work in our Scottsdale office. It is Design Pickle’s mission to change lives through creativity and every role within the pickle jar is vital to the success of our clients and goals we set out to accomplish.
You will be responsible for the public relations initiatives of the organization. You will be reporting directly to our manager, Nicole Lovelady and working closely with our Director of Paid Acquisition, Dave Ball.
The PR Intern will work between 10-20 hours per week learning the in-and-outs of Public Relations in a startup type environment. During your tenure with Design Pickle, you will be trained on how to leverage social media to grow and maintain an existing company brand and how to develop interpersonal relationships with both global and local business prospects or clientele.If you’re dill-ighted at the opportunity to grow with one of the coolest companies around, here’s the run-down…
A little about you:
You have some experience in public relations or are hungry to learn.
Social media comes second nature to you and you’re also familiar with marketing strategies.
You pride yourself as an amazing problem solver and your critical thinking skills are off the charts.
Your written and verbal communication is on point. When you are given a goal to accomplish, your organization and attention to detail leaves us saying, “Wow”!
What you’ll do:
- Design and maintain a favorable public image for the organization

- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new business contacts by pitching press and local businesses
