DecisivEdge is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in driving growth for our new Markham office by initiating and cultivating lasting relationships with business and technology executives.
Success in this full-time role will be defined by your ability to achieve the following:
- Develop list of targets, devise strategies for gaining entry and execute strategy in a systematic and disciplined fashion to achieve sales goals.
- Develop and lead the Company’s responses to Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
- Articulate DecisivEdge suite of services and value proposition.
- Implement and execute a disciplined sales process including reporting on sales progress.
Experience and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 10 years of experience in business and technology consulting and solutions sales in the Financial Services industry
- Familiarity with identifying, developing, and closing sales of services including applications development, quality assurance, analytics, technology strategy, retail banking strategy, M&A planning and integration services and managed services
- Expertise in market analysis, monitoring competitive activity, account profiling, lead qualification, identifying customer needs, effective content messaging, relationship management, value-based solution sales, contract negotiations, sales forecasting/modeling and win/loss opportunity analysis
- Expertise with various marketing channels and lead generation mechanisms
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Demonstrated client management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
