The Defense Digital Service partners with U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and the U.S. Army Cyber School (USACS) to engage and empower it’s technical talent through
the JYN program and future Fett Projects. Junior Officers work side-by-side with DDS civilians in unclassified, collaborative,
startup-like spaces to tackle real world problems using technology and tools found in the private sector.
Past projects include:
- Developing drone detection technology
- Hunting adversaries on DoD networks
- Redesigning Cyber Training
- Penetration Testing DoD networks
- Evolving biometric enrollment capabilities
The Advanced Education Program is a pilot with Cyber Basic Officer Leaders Course students who will work on a Fett or Jyn team in lieu of CYBOLC. After completion of Common Core, students will join a Fett team to utilize unique technical talent and solve challenging problems for the Department of Defense.
